The Dhol Enforcement Agency was established officially in 1996 and have proved time and time again to be original innovators of live punjabi folk music.
At the forefront of the agency; Indi Singh Soor, a well known talented musician that's internationally known and locally respected. As a talented musician Indi takes pride in saying he has a lifelong passion for music and can play many musical instruments; specialising in the Dhol, Dholak, Drums, Piano, Keyboards, Harmonium, Tumbi and Algozey.
Not only a professional musical teacher and a personal tutor, but Indi also decided to create his own team of drummers one day during a teaching lesson at the West End Neighbourhood Centre in Leicester. As the numbers of students began to grow he gradually selected only the best players to form the first dhol playing squad from Leicester to represent.
If that’s not enough, the elite group have innovated their way into the music mainstream; releasing two major EPs and two videos which stream regularly online and on BritAsia TV. Furthermore the Dhol Enforcement Agency have also raised the bar by creating the world's first Algozey app and the world's first iSarangi / iDhad app for the iPhone and iPad.
The Dhol Enforcement Agency are now leading the way; rapidly growing, always innovating and performing at weddings, parties, cultural functions and clubs worldwide.
